Norma Ferguson is a Glasgow-based abstract artist whose vibrant paintings are driven by intuition, movement and music. Rather than working towards a predetermined outcome, she embraces spontaneity, allowing each piece to evolve naturally through colour, rhythm and gesture.
Painting is both a therapeutic and creative practice for Ferguson, often inspired by the immersive flow state that music creates. Working with acrylics, spray paint and acrylic pouring techniques, she produces expressive compositions that capture energy and emotion with bold confidence.
Characterised by fluorescent tones, fluid forms and striking contrasts, her work celebrates the relationship between sound, colour and creative freedom.
