Kirsty Penny
Kirsty Penny is an artist based in Edinburgh, working from her home studio near Leith. She studied Fine Art at Leeds Arts University, graduating with First-Class Honours in 2023.
Her work is rooted in her own life, the dishes piling up, busy dinner tables, half-finished conversations, and the chaos that comes with it all.
Using oil paint and oil pastels, she creates bold, colourful pieces that capture these everyday scenes and moments, finding humour and a bit of joy in what can be an overwhelming world.
